We serve our unhoused neighbors in Greensboro with good, hot food and the hope found in Jesus Christ — the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
The earliest believers were simply called followers of “the Way.” We take that name as a calling — to walk the way Jesus walked, among the hungry, the hurting, and the overlooked.
The Followers of the Way bring warm meals to people experiencing homelessness in Greensboro, and alongside every plate we share a message of hope, dignity, and the love of Christ. We believe every person deserves to be fed — in body and in spirit.
We prepare and serve good food — the kind you’d serve your own family — to our unhoused neighbors.
We share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, offering encouragement, prayer, and a reminder that every person is loved by God.
We don’t just hand out food — we sit, talk, listen, and build real relationships with the people we serve.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”John 14:6 (KJV)
Help cook, serve, or simply spend time with our neighbors. No experience needed — just a willing heart.
Donations of food, supplies, and funds help us serve more meals to more people in need.
Lift up our ministry and the people we serve. Prayer is the foundation of everything we do.
